Not A Reason to Hate Stampby *Agoraphobic-Blue

"I hate Death Note because of the fans!"
"I hate Warriors because of the fans!"
And so on~~~~

Just pissed me off like you don't know. (Actually I normaly read it, have a moment of "WTF?", then forget about it)

But seriously, many-many great things are being hated because of the fans, and it's just not right. Every fandom has some weird fans, but that's not a reason to hate something!

I'll admit, fantards have kept me away from some things, but when I actually take the time to watch it, I normaly end up liking it.

Such as Twilight, oh lord how I used to bash on that crap.
Then one day, I actually watched it, and liked it. It wasn't the best thing even, but I enjoyed it. I even saw the third movie on the midnight release! XD (No, I'm not saying Twilight is as great as people make it seem, but it IS a good movie)

Or Death Note. I avoided the heck out of that for YEARS. Then I caught an episode of it on Adult Swim one night, and ended up loving it.

Even things like Warriors:
Warriors has some freakin' weird ass fans, but don't take that as a reason to hate the books. (Maybe you can hate it for the overused plots and often dull dialog, but not because the fans)

People, this stamp isn't about how you can't hate something. It's about how stupid it is to hate something you've never read, watched, or played, or to start hating something because a few stupid fans.

This stamp is NOT about Twilight. I understand that a lot of people who HAVE read or watched it hate it, and that's fine with me. Infact, I agree with pretty much anything you can say about it: poor acting, stupid plot, shitty interpretation of vampires, (even though I don't care for vampires), and so on.

Using the fans as an excuse to hate something is idiotic and will always be idiotic. It's up there with the old "It's everywhere" excuse.

A bunch of random people on the internet cannot "ruin" something. People tend to act like assholes on sites like DA and YouTube for some reason.

Yes, I HATE when people do that. OMG. My sister once told me... I think it was Naruto she refused to watch because of the fans. Like... wut? Just turn on your TV, there are no fans in there, just watch it, sheesh. She's not as bad about that now. She went through some weird phase in college, I dunno. LOL But I so wanted to slap her for that. If she said she watched it and didn't like it, that's fine. But "the fandom is annoying so I won't watch it"? *SLAP*
